Basic Information

Yes. DMC Europe GmbH, formerly known as MCD-Tools GmbH, is the European subsidiary of Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (DMC) headquartered in Orlando, Florida.

No. DMC Europe accepts orders from all of Europe except the United Kingdom and Ireland. Customers located in those regions should direct their orders to Heamar or Glenair. International distributors can be found here.

DMC Applications

All of these manual crimp tools are mil-qualified but each tool has different specification sheets according to SAE AS22520. The M22520/1-01 (AF8) is suitable for wire sizes 12 to 26 AWG. The M22520/2-01 (AFM8) is suitable for wire sizes 20 to 32 AWG. The MSS520/7-01 (MH860) for wire sizes 16 to 28 AWG.

No. DMC Europe does not provide a “standard” time frame for tool repair and calibration. Repair and calibration is unique to each user and should be based on frequency of use, proper tool care, internal requirements, or compliance with a QMS.

Yes. Over time tools will become worn or may be in need of adjustment. Gaging is a good way to verify the tool will meet the OEM’s performance expectation, however, routine calibration is always a good idea. Calibration schedules can be based on several variables: number of cycles, length of time since the last calibration, damage or improper care of tools, etc. A calibration schedule should be determined by the end user to ensure quality and tool life.

Frequently asked questions about our Online-Shop

You can pay in advance, credit card, PayPal and invoice (domestic only). To do this you must enter the payment details on our website. If you pay in advance, you will receive a confirmation email in which you will find bank details. If you pay by credit card or PayPal, you will receive a confirmation email once the payment is successfully completed. If you pay by invoice (only domestic orders), you will receive the invoice with the order and must pay it within 14 days.

No, not at this time. 

The delivery times for your tools depend on whether your items are in stock. Stock items are usually delivered within 2-3 days – in some cases faster. If you source your tools from a warehouse in the UK or USA, the delivery time is usually 1-2 weeks. For all other items the delivery time may vary depending on the availability of the items. Please contact us if you have any questions about specific items and delivery times.

You can easily track current orders on our website. To do this, simply use your account in the top right corner of the website. Click “My Orders” to see the current status of your order. There you will find a list of all orders with information about each order, such as order number, delivery address and status.
